I’m Cristina. I spent over 20 years as a certified educator, including 15 beautiful years teaching 1st grade. I chose to leave the traditional classroom to step into a new chapter as a homeschooling mom to my own two sweet little boys. Experiencing motherhood inspired me to create Family First. I wanted to build a warm, nurturing space to uplift and support other families as they navigate their own educational journeys.
My goal is to support what you are already doing in your home. We can partner together in a way that feels most supportive to your family:
Enhance Your Current Routine: Reinforce and support the lessons you are already teaching.
Take the Lead: Completely take over the planning and teaching for reading and writing to lighten your load.
Master Early Literacy: Explicit, targeted phonics instruction using UFLI.
I offer remote or in-person lessons. I created a home classroom where you and your child can come for your personalized lessons.
Individual Lessons: $50- $75, depending on duration, subjects taught, and location.
Customizable monthly packages available
For example, $500 a month includes 3 reading lessons a week.
